Gregg Gittins, D.C., C.C.S.P.

Dr. Gregg Gittins has been a leader in the chiropractic field for more than 15 years.  After obtaining his Bachelors degree in Biology from the University of
Oregon, Dr. Gittins pursued his dream of becoming a Chiropractor at
Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon.

After graduating in 1994 and establishing his practice with Oakway
Health Center, Inc., Dr. Gittins quickly built a large and loyal following of
patients who appreciated his individualized treatment and highly skilled
adjusting techniques.

In order to enhance his knowledge and skills, Dr. Gittins pursued further
training as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician, receiving his
certification in 1996 by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports
Physicians. This national accreditation is shared by only three percent of all licensed Chiropractors. Dr. Gittins is a specialist in the treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.

In 2003, Dr. Gittins partnered in the creation of Lane County's first state-of-the-art spinal rehabilitation center focusing on progressive resistance exercise utilizing superslow training methods. This method has rapidly become known as the safest and most efficient ways to strengthen the body. This facility was originally known as "SuperBacks" which focused on individuals with chronic, recurrent, lower back and neck pain. After seeing the incredible benefits of combining the best of chiropractic along with a safe and effective spinal strengthening program the two facilities were combined to reflect their common goal - which is, returning patients Back2Strength.

Ed Collins, Certified MedX Spinal Rehabilitation Technician, SuperSlow Instructor

Ed Collins is a MedX certified trainer with about 30 years of experience and expertise as a personal trainer and in the field of spinal rehabilitation.  Mr. Collins received his Bachelors in Physical Education & Exercise Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He then completed post graduate studies in Athletic Administration at the University of Southern California.

After graduating, Mr. Collins was hired as an exercise trainer at an exclusive facility in Southern California. That’s where his current area of expertise began, as he learned about proper exercise and how it could be of tremendous benefit to athletes and individuals who were recovering from injuries.

After eventually becoming owner of the upscale facility, Mr. Collins invested in the cutting-edge technology of MedX Corp. that tests and treats low back pain with specific exercises.  Mr. Collins has endless testimonials of lives that have been changed by this state-of-the art approach to back and neck pain—including his own powerful testimony:

"I had personal experience with this rehabilitation program. I was diagnosed with a ruptured disc with fragmentation at L-5, S-1 and told surgery was my only option to recover. Instead, I chose to rehabilitate myself on the MedX Core program and 10 weeks later I was water skiing, swimming and tubing on the Colorado River. I was pain free and functioning normally. That was 15 years ago and I'm still going strong. So I am a big believer in this technology."
